Sjöbosand bathing area
Sjöbosand has a fine sandy beach that is particularly popular with families with children. There are toilets, changing rooms, a barbecue ring with a windbreak and a kiosk during the summer.

Questions and answers
Parking is available directly next to the bathing area. Respect the cottage owners' own parking lots.
Airport buses go out to Skellefteå airport. From the airport you can walk 1.7 kilometers to get to Sjöbosand beach. Read more about the airport bus departure times on the Skellefteå bus website

It is not allowed to bring dogs and other pets to municipal bathing areas. There are two exceptions. You can bring pets to Byske havsbad and Danielsten in Bureå.
How to get here
The bathing area is located about 20 km southeast of Skellefteå center, near Skellefteå airport. Follow the signs to the airport. If you come from Bureå / E4 you pass the airport and if you come from Burträskvägen, the bathing area is about 1.6 km before the airport. It is signposted from road 774.
