Fällforsleden
The route is 4 kilometres long. The trail starts from Laxcenter, passes Marranäsvältan and returns to Laxcenter. Here you can hike near the Byske River, an undeveloped forest river with migrating salmon. The trail is located in an area with a lot of forest birds and wildlife. You can also discover the so-called oxbow lakes along the trail.

Skellefteå Municipality in cooperation with the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development has built a new hiking trail in Fällfors with a new lookout point at the Fällfors Falls that allows visitors to look out over the rapids and watch for salmon on their migration to spawning grounds.
The hiking trail takes you along the Byske River through natural forest and up the pine forest towards Marranäsvältan. At Marranäsvältan, "Norrland's Grand Canyon", there are barbecue facilities and here the trail turns back towards Fällfors. Along the way you will come across, among other things, raven lakes where you can read more about these natural formations in the landscape.
