In the Biblio app, you can borrow, read and listen to e-books and audiobooks - both online and offline. You log in with your library card number or personal identification number and your PIN code and get access to the library's range of digital books.
- You may borrow a maximum of 8 e-loans per month.
- You can only have 2 simultaneous loans.
- The loan period is 28 days.

Do this to start using the new Biblio
- Download the new app Biblio in the App Store External link. or Google Play External link.. If you want to read your books directly on the web instead, go to https://biblio.app External link. to use Biblio on the web.
- Select "Skellefteå" when you log in.
- You can log in in two ways, choose which one suits you:
Option 1: Continue with library card. Select "Skellefteå". Enter your library card number or personal identification number and PIN code.
Option 2: Continue with email. First register as a user with your email address and a password of your own choice. You can then connect your library under your profile and add your library card. - Start searching and borrowing books. You may borrow a maximum of 8 e-loans per month. You can only have 2 simultaneous loans.
- When you choose which book you want to borrow, pay attention to choosing the right format, audiobook or e-book. The audiobooks have an icon with headphones. E-books have a book icon.
- The Library wishes you pleasant reading!
Changes in new Biblio
Since the new Biblio is based on a completely new technical platform that is not yet fully developed, some functions are unfortunately missing.
- Unfortunately, new Biblio does not currently have support for transferring borrowed e-books to e-book readers! The feature is under investigation.

- You can no longer see your e-loans when you are logged in to the library website. The feature is under development and will arrive next year.
- It is no longer possible to borrow e-media via the library website. You have to borrow via the app or via Biblio on the web https://biblio.app External link..
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept proposals for new e-books/audiobooks. Currently, there is no support for adding requested titles. The feature is under development.

If it doesn't work
At the end of the month, the library may have reached the maximum cost per month limit. In this case, you will have to wait until next month before you can borrow again.
As a library user in Skellefteå municipality, you have access to TWO movie services through your library account: Cineasterna and Viddla!
You can borrow streaming e-film from the library through the Cineasterna service. All you need is your library card/personal number, your PIN and an internet connection. Watch movies at your convenience on your computer, mobile or tablet.
- You can borrow a maximum of 8 e-films per month per service, i.e. 8 films on Cineasterna and 8 films on Viddla.
- The loan period is 48 hours.
- You don't have to return e-films. Once the loan period ends, you can no longer play the movie.
- Cineasterna can only be used within Sweden.

- Select a movie you want to borrow.
- Enter your library card/personal identification number and your PIN code.
- Click on "Watch the movie". The movie will start!

Västerbotten is a county with a well-established and prominent literary tradition, with great writers who all have strong ties to their homeland. Over the years, printed leaflets, guides and signs linked to the author and the place have been produced by various actors in the county.

Världens bibliotek (The World's library) is a free streaming service for e-books and audio books in Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Assyrian/Syrian, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Kurdish, Persian/Dari, Polish, Somali, Thai, Tigrinya, Turkish and Ukranian.
You need a computer, mobile phone or tablet with an internet connection. You must be physically present in Sweden.

The Bläddra app is completely free for the user and contains literature in minority languages for adults, young people and children.
The e-books can be accessed anywhere in the country and are available offline. No account or login is required to read the books.

ArkivDigital is a database for genealogists with digital color images of church records and other historical documents. Can only be used on the City Library's genealogy computer.
Trafiko
You can study driving license theory for free at the library with Trafiko. Available in Swedish, English, Arabic and Persian, the driving license theory contains an e-book, audio book, driving license questions and videos. Can only be used in libraries.

- Connect to the library's wifi.
