Northvolt makes green batteries for a blue planet. Affordable cells and high-quality battery systems. All manufactured with a record-low carbon footprint. We’re staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs, in Västerås, as well as our Gdansk facility for production of battery systems. Silent Factory is a newly founded game company based on Skellefteå. We are a small company of four people working on our first game title to be released later this year. Windswept Interactive is a VR game studio currently working on its second release. Its first game came out last year: Ghost Signal - A Stellaris Story. The studio is currently 9 ppl strong with most people in skellefteå, and the rest in Stockholm and Malmö.

The Digital Office (DK), a part of Skellefteå Kommun’s IT department, plays a crucial role in digital transformation. At DK employees have one of three roles: Business Developers, Development Leaders, and Digitalization Leaders. DK supports the municipality and company operations by bridging the gap between IT solutions and evolving work practices. Their two main goals are to actively drive digital transformation and enhance user experiences in digital services. DK focuses on areas like IoT, Automation, Platforms, and Collaborative Support. They also collaborate with service managers to identify projects related to digital transformation, process improvement, and design. Additionally, DK has explored generative AI, aiming to develop their own AI assistants in the future, including training opportunities for interested organizations.

Gold Town Games producerar och distribuerar mobilspel på en global marknad. Vi har fem titlar varav den mest framgångsrika är World Hockey Manager.
